Here are just a few of the things that you can get up to with your dog whilst you are staying with us at Stone's Throw Guest House. Visit We Are Weymouth for tonnes of more information on local areas and places to visit. 

Don’t miss out on some of the delicious food and drink offerings just because you have your dog with you. So many of the great places to eat and drink in Weymouth are dog friendly. Below is a list of just a few of the establishments you can visit with your four legged friend. Please review our eating out page for full list of dog friendly places to visit.

The Lookout Cafe - One of Stone's Throw's personal favourites! Situated on top of Bowleaze Cove this little cafe offers stunning views and excellent food.. It also has the freedom for your dog to have a little run  around out on the greens.

 

The Ship Inn - A great pub allowing dogs inside and outside where you can sit alongside the tranquil harbour side with a number of local food and drink options.

 

Nautico - A great local lounge restaurant that's super dog friendly and great menu. 

 

The Black Dog Inn - This is a stunning traditional pub in the centre of town offering traditional food & drink with a warm welcome for dogs.

Dog adventures

Weymouth is a very dog friendly town. Take a peek at some of the adventures you can take while you stay with us

Weymouth Beach - The stunning beach at Weymouth is almost on your doorstep at Stone's Throw. Dogs are excluded from Greenhill Groyne to the pavilion end of the Beach from Good Friday to 31 October; there is a dog friendly area at the pavilion end of the beach which allows dogs all year round.

Radipole Lake - A short walk from Stone's Throw will take you to Radipole Lake Nature Reserve offering beautiful surroundings and will allow dogs who are kept on their leads.   

Lodmoor Country Park - Yet another nature reserve with stunning greenery and nature trail. Dogs must be kept on their leads when in the vicinity of the numerous activity areas (Children’s play areas, pirate golf etc).

Nothe Gardens - A wonderful relaxing gardens based in the grounds of Nothe Fort, overlooking Weymouth's harbour.
