Weymouth has so many amazing food spots. We've listed a few of our favourites
Places to eat and drink
Below are some of our favourite spots to eat and drink in Weymouth and please feel free to take a picture of this page on your phone to have with you whilst you are out and about. If you see DF next to a venue, this means its dog friendly.
We are doing our utmost to stay on top of everyone’s changes and how they are making themselves Covid secure, so it is always best to check online or give them a call to check. Please do ask for any further information you need, and we will try our best! We do strongly suggest making reservations for restaurants during your stay as know in some places this will be their standard policy and will not be excepting walk ins. All these places, as we know it, are offering take away services to. You are welcome to bring food back to the Guest House, but we ask you are as careful as possible when eating in your rooms and use the trays or tables in your room. There are also plenty of lovely spots to eat Al Fresco, the beach, the picnic benches located near the amusements at the Pavilion end of the bench, Greenhill gardens and the Harbour wall.
Best places for a drink:
Our favourite spot to have a drink in Weymouth is the Quay on the Harbour. When the sun is shining and you cannot get a table outside, the harbour wall becomes the next best thing. And everyone has been complying to social distancing on here! The Ship Inn/The Royal Oak and The Anchor are the best spots at the Quayside. Nautico & Batida on the high street do great cocktails, along with The Nook on the Esplanade, The Black Dog & The Edinburgh have good live music over the weekends and The Doghouse micro pub has a great selection of local craft beers. A lot of these establishments have been doing take away drinks for you to enjoy outside.
